Growing up in rural South Dakota, I never felt like I had many career options. I wasn't good at math, I wasn't good at english or science, and I wasn't good at expressing myself.

Early in year 9, my journalism teacher handed me a janky old Nikon D3000 with a used-and-abused 55-200mm kit lens. She instructed my to take some photos of that day's junior high football game for the yearbook. I immediately fell in love, and I bought my own gear so I could continue to take sports photos for my high school. My first camera was a Nikon D3300.

Its been a good handful of years, and since that fateful JH football game i've branched into fashion, wedding, family, and concert photography. I have really enjoyed expressing my creative side with photography and I am excited for my future in the feild.
